First let me say it was a pleasure to review Color Climax. Not only was the site extremely well designed but the older archives brought back memories of a time when hardcore porn was a much more refined media than some of it is today. Great posed shots, attractive happy stars and the feeling you were being very risque buying the magazines. Color Climax started as a high quality hardcore magazine back when the Danes decided to liberate porn and its been publishing ever since. Its illustrated sex stories were the highlight of each month. Color Climax has embraced the internet wholeheartedly and as well as the full collection of its older photos you will find exclusive high definition porn star photos and lots of short hardcore videos.

The home page displays all the update and key links to studios. Each studio is themed so you get Classic color climax, blue climax, school girls, anal sex, lesbian bizarre and so on. Click on a studio and all the photo sets are brought up on an index that describes each set in detail . You can also select the photos by the decade they were produced in. Clearly the newer ones are better quality but by using a sophisticated scanning process color climax have even got the older ones looking very good. Viewing the photos is a dream. At the top of the page is a scrolling thumbnail bar that smoothly moves left or right based on the buttons you click. You can click the thumbnail a get a full size photo or you can can it resized to fit your screen. As well as a slide show option we particularly liked being able just to click on the full size photo to go to the next in the set. This greatly assists all you one handed surfers. VIP members also get to download zipped files of photos. The galleries cover all sorts of hardcore sex including mild fetish and pissing. There seems to be a higher than usual percentage of group sex with all sorts of MF combinations. A lot of the content comes from european red light districts especially Germany and France but there is also a broad racial and physical mixture from all over the planet

Moving on from the older galleries there is a great xposed section. This features the most outrageous photo shoots ( as determined by the photographer) and Femme XXX where you will find exclusive high resolution photos of your favourite porn stars including Kyla Cole, Anetta Keys, Terri Summers and Dani Woodward. By default they are streamed but there is a download feature for VIP members which is a little clumsy and seems only to work if you right click the download button and do "Save target as". Color Climax recommend you use Firefox which might work better but 88% of you use IE 6 or 7 so that's not much help. In addition to their own videos you get access to Hustler for a different kind of video experience.

Finding content is easy - there is a very simple to use point and click search facility or you can go for the model index. Both get you a thumnailed list of pictures meeting your criteria. Beware this list can get pretty long. We could not find any search facility for the videos Finally there are facilities for Ipods and a comprehensive store that lets you buy magazines, videos and all sorts of other sex objects.


Overall Color Climax is top of its class - a unique site with massive high quality galleries of older hard core porn photos mixed in with modern high resolution shoots of current porn stars. Its design is excellent and it represents huge value for money. Go and try it out
